<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric blower improved in airtightness between an abutting part of a fan cover and the leading end side of adjacent upstream blades of a diffuser without requiring an increase in the number of parts and assembling accuracy more than necessary. <P>SOLUTION: The fan cover 16 includes an intake port in communication with a suction port. The fan cover 16 includes the abutting part 82 formed in plane shape outside the intake port. The diffuser 15 includes a diffuser body 71 located between a centrifugal fan 14 and an electric motor. The diffuser 15 includes a plurality of upstream blades 72 projected from the diffuser body 71 and located around the centrifugal fan 14. The diffuser 15 includes thin-walled parts 78 deformed when the abutting part 82 abuts on the leading end side of the upstream blades 72, to press-contact the leading end side of the upstream blades 72 to the abutting part 82. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
