<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate an automatic stop mode of stopping recording automatically upon elapsing a prescribed time after start of shooting, and such an inconvenience as that a reproduction time is not fixed in an environment where the frame rate is fixed during reproduction. <P>SOLUTION: A control unit (107) shortens a recording time of automatic stop mode as the frame rate increases when the frame rate of an imaging unit (101) is less than a predetermined value, otherwise fixes the recording time regardless of the frame rate. When reproducing a moving image recorded in the automatic stop mode with a frame rate higher than the predetermined value at the time of recording, the control unit (107) controls a signal processing unit (104) to thin the frames so that the reproduction time of a moving image in the automatic stop mode, when the frame rate is less than the predetermined value at the time of recording, is attained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
