<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus for replacing a press plate, capable of shortening a press plate replacement time. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided the method for replacing the press plate, which includes: opening a clamp device for a rear edge of the press plate first; moving the press plate to a carrying-out shaft through backward turning of a plate cylinder; and gripping the press plate after the press plate passes through a driven conveying roller. In this case, a clamp device 28 for the rear edge of the press plate 27 is opened first while the plate cylinder 11 turns backward, then a clamp device 38 for a front edge of the press plate 27 is opened before the press plate 27 is gripped by conveying rollers 31, 32, and the press plate is carried out from the backward turning plate cylinder 11 by the conveying rollers 31, 32 without stopping the plate cylinder 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
