PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication terminal and the like that can allow contents data recorded at the time of an event to be appropriately shared and allow for easier user operation in the case of sharing the contents data.

SOLUTION: A communication terminal 10 detects and obtains the IDs of other communication terminals 10 located within an applicable area according to a query signal for detecting communication terminals 10 with which a communication line for communicating with the communication terminal 10 can be established without building a physical transmission channel that allows data to be sent and received between the communication terminal 10 and other communication terminals 10 via short-range radio communication and the like and a response signal to the query signal. Then the communication terminal 10 associates generated contents data with the obtained IDs of the terminals within the area and its own ID, and records it in an image sharing server 30.
