<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a highly bright organic EL element suppressed in deterioration of a conductive reflection film due to heat and light during light emission thereof, suppressed in deterioration of light emission intensity due to peeling of the conductive reflection film from a luminous layer or the like, and improved in durability. <P>SOLUTION: An organic electroluminescent element includes a base material, a transparent electrode layer, a luminous layer and a conductive reflection film, in this order.
