<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass scribing method and a glass scribing device capable of scribing a thin glass substrate of 100 μm or less into a predetermined pattern without a complicated control. <P>SOLUTION: The glass scribing method for scribing a thin glass substrate 40 having a thickness of 100 μm or less into a predetermined shape includes a step which mounts the glass scriber 30 having a conical pointed extremity to a support section 20, a step which places the glass substrate 40 on a table surface 24, a step which abuts the glass scriber 30 on the glass substrate 40 placed on the table surface 24 and applies a predetermined load to the glass substrate 40, and a step which relatively moves the table surface 24 and the support section 20 while abutting the pointed extremity of the glass scriber 30 on the surface of the glass substrate 40 so as to scribe a predetermined shape on the surface of the glass substrate 40. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
