<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that when a resin containing magnetic powder is heated in order to harden a coil component filling between flanges, the air confined in an air gap expands to generate bubbles on the outer periphery of the resin containing magnetic powder. <P>SOLUTION: The coil component comprises a drum type core having an upper flange at one end of a winding core and a lower flange at the other end thereof, a winding wound around the outer periphery of the winding core, and a resin containing magnetic powder which fills the outer periphery of the winding between the upper and lower flanges.
