<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for installing a solar cell module on a roof, which makes it unnecessary to drill a hole in the roof for mounting the solar cell module, and which can make an arrangement interval between the roof and the solar cell module as short as possible. <P>SOLUTION: A structure for installing a solar cell module on a roof includes: a supporting fitting 1 which is fixed to a standing seam of the roof; a retainer member 13 which is positioned between an undersurface of a supporting piece 12b of the supporting fitting 1 and the roof; an end frame 2 which is arranged on the retainer member 13; a nut 14c which fixes the retainer member 13 and the end frame 2 to each other by being attached to a bolt part 14b protruding upward from a top surface of the retainer member 13; and a solar cell module fixture 4.
