摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a glass fine particle deposit, by which a glass fine particle deposit that ensures good glass properties can be produced with high reproducibility. <P>SOLUTION: The method is a method for producing a glass fine particle deposit 17 by blowing an oxyhydrogen flame F containing a raw material gas from a burner 15 onto a target 14 and depositing glass fine particles generated by hydrolysis reaction by the oxyhydrogen flame F onto the target 14, wherein the luminance distribution of the flame F spurted from the burner 15 and the temperature distribution of the deposition place of the glass fine particles are measured, and the flow rate of at least one of the raw material gas and oxyhydrogen gas supplied to the burner 15 is adjusted so that the measured luminance distribution and the measured temperature distribution are made equal to those at which a good glass fine particle deposit 17 is produced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
