<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutoff device for underground entrance capable of preventing water from flowing into the underground even if the water level at the underground entrance exceeds the height of a wall plate. <P>SOLUTION: Cutoff engagement levers are provided to opposite wall plates of the underground entrance, both right- and left-end erection columns are stood at front ends of the cutoff engagement levers, and right- and left-directional recessed grooves are formed in the ground surface between both the right- and left-end erection columns. A waterproof sheet having its rear edge fixed to rear ends of the wall plates is spread horizontally between the cutoff engagement levers and spread vertically on fronts of both the right- and left-end erection columns, and also has its front edge locked in the right- and left-directional recessed groove. While right and left edges of a horizontal plane of the waterproof sheet are held in a cutoff state by pressing and fixing press columns to the right and left edges of the waterproof sheet positioned between the cutoff engagement levers, and right and left edges of a vertical plane of the waterproof sheet are held in a cutoff state by pressing and fixing press columns to right and left edges of the waterproof sheet positioned before both the right- and left-end erection columns. Then a front edge of the waterproof sheet is held in a cutoff state by pressing press lateral levers to front edges of the waterproof sheet positioned in the right- and left-directional recessed grooves. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
