<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IC socket enabling a user to easily observe an inside state of a socket body portion from the outside of the IC socket holding an IC package. <P>SOLUTION: An IC socket 1 is configured by arranging first socket terminals 30 and second socket terminals 40 in two lines in a socket body portion 10 made from transparent or translucent insulation material. The first socket terminals 30 and the second socket terminals 40 have socket side connecting portions electrically connected with an IC terminal, and lead portions projecting downward from the socket body portion 10 to be electrically connected to a substrate and the like. The first socket terminals 30 and the second socket terminals 40 in each line are arranged in the socket body portion 10 while keeping an interval for a thickness-reducing recessed portion 19 which is larger than a predetermined arrangement interval at at least one place. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
