<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic thin film photoelectric conversion element having high power generation conversion efficiency which inhibits deactivation of an exciton in the organic thin film photoelectric conversion element, and a manufacturing method of the same. <P>SOLUTION: The organic thin film photoelectric conversion element comprises a transparent substrate, an electrode (anode), an anode-side exciton blocking layer, a p-type organic semiconductor layer, an n-type organic semiconductor layer and an electrode (cathode) which are laminated, in which an orientational order parameter (S) of the anode-side exciton blocking layer is defined as -0.5≤S≤-0.1. An organic thin film photoelectric conversion element manufacturing method comprises a process of forming the anode-side exciton blocking layer between processes of forming the electrode (anode) and of the p-type organic semiconductor layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
