This device control system is provided with: a device control apparatus connected to a load device through a signal line; a wireless master device connected to the signal line; and a wireless slave device. Upon reception of a second control signal from the wireless slave device through the wireless master device, or reception of a third control signal transmitted in response to a state confirmation signal through the signal line, the device control apparatus outputs a first control signal indicating the state of the load device to the signal line. Upon reception of a state change notification transmitted in response to the first control signal, the device control apparatus transmits the state change notification to the wireless master device. Upon reception of the state change notification, the wireless master device transmits the received state change notification to the wireless slave device.
