<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compound exhibiting sufficient herbicidal activity with little quantity of herbicide applying to soil or stalks or leaves; and to provide an agriculture chemical composition using the same, in particular a herbicide. <P>SOLUTION: A pyrimidine derivative represented by a general formula [1] or a salt of the same, and the herbicide containing the same is disclosed.
