<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device with high durability that can cope with an increase in image formation speed without impairing image formation quality. <P>SOLUTION: The fixing device includes: a heating roller; a fixing belt which rotates following the heating roller while being in pressure contact with the heating roller on an external surface; and a pressure pad which abuts on an internal surface of the fixing belt, receives pressing force from the outside and is mounted with an elastic body being in pressure contact with the fixing belt from the internal surface. The fixing device further includes: a first pressing member for pressing an upstream side portion of the movement direction of the fixing belt of the elastic body; and a second pressing member which presses a downstream side portion of the movement direction of the fixing belt of the elastic body and is different from the first pressing member. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
