<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery including a pressure-sensitive deformable element which reliably acts with an application of a desired working pressure. <P>SOLUTION: The nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery includes: an enclosure can having an opening; an electrode body (10) housed in the enclosure can and having positive and negative electrodes including positive and negative collector plates, respectively; a sealing plate (3) sealing the opening; an external electrode terminal (1) having one end side fitted in a through hole of the sealing plate (3) and the other end side projecting from the sealing plate (3) toward the outside; and a pressure-sensitive deformable element which is a member provided closer to an inside of a battery from the sealing plate and deforms corresponding to an increase of a gas pressure inside the battery. In the nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery, a hole connecting the outside of the battery and a space in contact with a battery external side of the pressure-sensitive deformable element is formed inside the external electrode terminal (1). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
