<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vinyl ether usable as an initiator for living cation polymerization and comprising a reversible addition fragmentation chain transfer polymerizable part, and a polymer obtainable by polymerization of a vinyl based monomer polymerizable by living cation polymerization using the same as an initiator, and polymerizable in living radical polymerization by reversible addition fragmentation chain transfer polymerization. <P>SOLUTION: The vinyl ether is represented by formula (1), (in the formula, X represents an oxygen atom or sulfur atom), and the polymer is obtained by living cation polymerization of a vinyl monomer using the vinyl ether as the initiator. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
