<p>The method involves cleaning a material (1) to be cleaned with one or more washing liquids for dissolving and/or transporting contaminants. The material is made to contact with an ultrasonic vibrating plate (5) for supporting the cleaning effect, where the material is guided above or under transport rollers (2, 3) to bring the material in contact with the vibrating plate. The vibrating plate or a part of the vibrating plate is arranged at an angle to a surface of the material such that acoustic energy is delivered on a linear region on the material to be cleaned. An independent claim is also included for a device for cleaning of flat materials in the form of webs, sheets, strips, and tapes, from textiles, fabric, and plastic.</p> |
