PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor and a program capable of achieving satisfactory responsiveness.

SOLUTION: An information processor comprises: a detection section that detects an update area; a first processing section that executes first processing to screen information of the update area; a second processing section that executes second processing to the screen information of the update area where the first processing has completed; an estimation section; and a determination section. The first processing section and the second processing section execute the processing by either a first method that processes screen information of a second update area after processing image information of a first update area or a second method that interrupts the processing of the screen information of the first update area and processes screen information of an update area where the first update area and the second update area are integrated. The estimation section estimates a required time until the screen information of the second update area is transmitted to an external device for each combination between the processing methods of the first processing section and the second processing section. The determination section determines the processing method of each of the first processing section and the second processing section on the basis of the required time of each combination.
