Provided is an amusement system (1), comprising a server device (3), and game devices (2A, 2B) and an individual user terminal device (7) which are capable of connecting to the server device via a network (5), and whereby it is possible to provide a user of the terminal device with a location wherein a group of users which have a prescribed connection interact via the network. An event is set (S23-S26) upon the game, including playing the game with the game devices according to prescribed conditions in a description with the group of users having the prescribed connection being prospective participants. Event information is provided (S27, S28) to the terminal device of the prospective participant user group. If a user in the prospective participants plays the game according to the event description, a prescribed benefit is appended to at least some users in the prospective participants.
