<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a body fluid-absorbent article such as a urine absorptive pad so that it can be worn to prevent a body fluid from leaking in the lateral direction. <P>SOLUTION: The body fluid-absorbent article includes the lateral part of an upper liquid absorber containing absorbent polymer particles and the fixation part of a leak preventive cuff, wherein the parts overlap with each other. Thus, when the highly absorbent polymer absorbs a body fluid to swell, the upper liquid absorber gets an increased thickness, so that the leak preventive cuff approaches skin correspondingly to the increment to reduce a gap between the cuff and skin, allowing to prevent a body liquid from leaking from the gap between the cuff and skin in the lateral direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
