<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator with an ice making device that reliably makes ice of different sizes and ensures separation of bigger ice therefrom. <P>SOLUTION: The refrigerator 1 includes the ice making device 20 that has a flexible ice making tray 21 formed of a plurality of ice making pockets 22 having an opening on the top through which water is supplied and connected with each other through connection grooves 22c defining water supply paths, and that is configured to supply water to the ice making pockets 22 to make ice, and twist the ice making tray 21 while rotating the tray to separate the ice therefrom. The refrigerator has a first ice making mode for making ice by supplying water into the ice making pockets 22 to a first water level H1, and a second ice making mode for making ice by supplying water into the ice making pockets to a second water level H2 higher than the first water level, thereby making ice 16 in different sizes. A lower end of the connection grove 22c is arranged at a level below the first water level, and the width of the water flow path at a lower part of the connection groove 22c is made larger than that of the water flow path at an upper part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
