<p>Profile beams are cut in halves for the production of so called honeycomb beams, by a carriage mounted cutter means. The cutter is movable in one direction on the carriage which can move perpendicular to the first direction, over the beam to be cut. Control appts. which regulate the reciprocal movement of the cutter in relation to carriage movement are motor driven and incorporate a screw spingle with RH and LH thread and a cam guide which is connected with the cutter.</p> |
