<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microscope for an ophthalmic operation, allowing suitable adjustment of positional relation between a patient's eye and an optical system for astigmatometry. <P>SOLUTION: This microscope 1 for the ophthalmic operation can perform astigmatometry for the patient's eye E by use of a projection image formation part 13 mounted to a microscope 6. The projection image formation part 13 is provided with: a plurality of bright points (an LED group 131-i) for astigmatometry arranged in a ring state; and a fixation target 131c disposed inside the ring-like arrangement. Based on a photographed image of the patient's eye E in a state that the LED group 131-i and the fixation target 131c are projected, a displacement calculation part 92 detects the fixation state of the patient's eye E relative to the fixation target 131c.
