IMAGE DISPLAY DEVICE, AND METHOD OF ADJUSTING VIBRATION STATE OF REFLECTION MIRROR IN IMAGE DISPLAY DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent adverse effect on a structure of a reflection mirror despite an increase in energy output from a light source, and prevent adverse effect on a drive condition of the reflection mirror.

SOLUTION: A mirror drive control unit 7 reads past history data relating to temperature change of a minute mirror 1 out of a first LUT holding unit 19, and estimates current temperature of the minute mirror 1 on the basis of the past history data that has been read out. The estimated temperature of the minute mirror 1 is assumed to be the current temperature P temp of the minute mirror 1, and a vibration (oscillation) condition in a horizontal (H) direction and a vibration (oscillation) condition in a vertical (V) direction of the minute mirror 1 are changed referring to P temp.
