In the present invention, a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) resource, which is used for transmitting acknowledgement/negative ACK (ACK/NACK) information related to downlink control information, is determined on the basis of n(1) PUCCH = f(nCCE,N(1) PUCCH,X), when the format of the downlink control information that is transmitted/received through a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) is in accordance with a transmission mode of a user equipment, wherein n(1) PUCCH is a PUCCH resource index, N(1) PUCCH is a value which is received from the base station, nCCE is a first control channel element (CCE) index in the PDCCH, X is a parameter which is not the nCCE and the N(1) PUCCH, and wherein f is a function having the nCCE, N(1) PUCCH, and the X as a factor.
