THERMOELECTRIC ELEMENT AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoelectric element with a high electromotive force and to provide a manufacturing method therefor.

SOLUTION: The thermoelectric element comprises: a laminated body 22 having thermoelectric conversion layers 12, 14 between a first substrate 10 and a second substrate 18; a columnar first thermal conductor 24a which is adjacent to the end of the thermoelectric conversion layer and a part of which is projecting from one face of the laminated body; and a columnar second thermal conductor 24b which is adjacent to the other end of the thermoelectric conversion layer and has a pad section 24c on the other face of the laminated body.
