<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a proper result of image area separation even if a document has been photographed from off-center, thereby obtaining a high-quality image using the result of image area separation. <P>SOLUTION: An MFP 30 obtains a photographed image 1 and a photographed image 2 photographed with a camera apparatus 10 from respective directions different from each other by 180°. Then, the MFP 30 performs keystone correction on the photographed image 1 and the photographed image 2 to generate a first image and a second image, and cuts off and composes high resolution regions of the first image and the second image to generate a third image. The MFP 30 performs image area separation on the third image to obtain image area separation result data, and performs image processing on either the first image or the second image on the basis of the image area separation result data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
