Ptfe antiadhesive coating - applied to aluminium base with an intermediate lithium oxide contg layer

Antiadhesive coating with a base of Al or its alloys (roughened for attachment of hard base), and a composite PTFE-based layer having a first layer contg. pigments, polysilicates, and Li2O and a sec. finishing layer. Esp. useful for cooking utensils, Addn. of Li2O to the first layer gives good adherence of PTFE to the 'hard base' at an economic price.
