<p>PURPOSE: A system for analyzing waterfront vegetation succession is provided to quantitatively analyze a vegetation change by developing/using a simulation-based waterfront vegetation succession prediction model stereotyping vegetation succession steps. CONSTITUTION: A start module inputs a starting condition and a dynamic module derives potential vegetation through a retrogression and succession process. The process predicts vegetation succession formed of a visual module indicating the derived waterfront vegetation. The starting condition is formed of information about regions, an average water level, and topography. The retrogression and succession process is analyzed through shear stress, the regions, the average water level, the topography, and flooding duration.
