FIELD: machine building.SUBSTANCE: ball lock contains a housing with two seats forming V-shaped pocket of shut-off member made in the form of turning ball plug of floating type with a through hole for medium to pass, sealing rings and a stock connected to the ball plug and plug turning drive. The valve is provided also with a basket installed in the housing and with the shut-off member lifting drive. The ball plug and sealing rings are located in the basket cavity. The basket is connected to the stock interacting with the shut-off member lifting drive providing its vertical movement along guides made in the housing.EFFECT: reducing wear of sealing surfaces and enlarging the service life of the valve in general with high tightness due to preliminary lifting of the shut-off member and pressure balancing upstream and downstream the valve.4 cl, 2 dwg |
