<p>PURPOSE: A device for simultaneously generating magnetic resonance images of plural types and a method thereof are provided to simultaneously and quickly generate the magnetic resonance images of plural types by combining partial images by using magnetic resonance signals. CONSTITUTION: A coil applies an electromagnetic wave signal to a target located in a magnetic field. The electromagnetic wave signal includes a pulse line in which pulses having a plurality of frequencies corresponding to atomic nuclei of plural types are placed in a row. A signal collecting unit(23) collects magnetic resonance signals corresponding to the atomic nuclei received in a coil. An image generating unit(33) generates magnetic resonance images of plural types corresponding to the atomic nuclei by using data of the magnetic resonance signals.
