PURPOSE: A method for transforming a mycobacterium is provided to simply transform the mycobacterium and to be used in a biological study. CONSTITUTION: A method for transforming mycobacterium comprises: a step of treating the mycobacteria with 5-10 ug/ml of lysozyme and incubating; and a step of applying heat shock to the mycobacteria at 35-45 deg. C. for 5-15 minutes and culturing. The mycobacterium is Mycobacterium smegmatis. |
