HIBERNATION BOOTING SYSTEM USING A HIDDEN AREA

PURPOSE: A hibernation booting system using a hidden area is provided to generate and select booting data of various use environments through a hibernation function for each use environment, thereby shortening the booting time of a local PC. CONSTITUTION: A local PC storage(100) includes a master booting record area which stores booting data; a system area; and a hidden area. A volatile memory(200) loads system data and the data of an executed program corresponding to the booting of a local PC. When a hibernation function is selected during operation of an operating system and the program, a hibernation control module(300) sets up memory data loaded in the volatile memory and address data in the system area linked by the volatile memory as booting data. The hibernation control module stores the booting data in the hidden area.
