PURPOSE: An electronic device, a micro controller, and a control method are provided to power off a memory interface unit in the controller in a low power mode, thereby implementing the low power mode. CONSTITUTION: When a normal mode state is converted into a low power mode state, a main memory is operated in a self-refresh mode. When the low power mode state is converted into the normal mode state, a memory controller unit(220) outputs signals releasing the self-refresh mode. A memory interface unit(210) transmits the signals to the main memory. A signal detection unit(230) detects output of the signals. The memory controller unit powers off the memory interface unit when the normal mode state is converted into the low power mode state.
