Novelty: an umbrella bearing photovoltaic cells is disclosed. Constitution: the pole 1, the drive mechanism 6 moving along said pole 1 and photovoltaic cells positioned on the upper side of the umbrella’s wings (2, 3, 4). Technical features: said umbrella is in closed condition when its wings (2, 3, 4) are in closed vertical arrangement and the ends of these last upwardly turned; on the contrary, in the opened condition, the umbrella’s wings are set in opened horizontal arrangement. The characteristic of the invention is that the photovoltaic umbrella in question opens out in the downward direction while the drive mechanism 6 is oppositely moving. The photovoltaic cells are protected from weather conditions, dust and thieving when the photovoltaic umbrella is in closed condition. Embodiment: use in pleasure sites, parks, hotel and house yards for synchronically enabling shading and solar power generation. |
