PURPOSE: A masking device for electroplating an outer peripheral surface of a hollow part is provided to maintain a sealing ability in spite of repeated combination and separation. CONSTITUTION: A masking device(100) for electroplating an outer peripheral surface of a hollow part comprises a first masking cap, a second masking cap, an elastic contact terminal(130), and an operating knob unit(125). The first masking cap comprises a sealing(113) and a first guide portion(111). The first sealing closes one opening of a hollow portion. The first guide portion is extended to the hollow portion. The second masking cap comprises a second sealing(123) and a second guide portion(121). The second sealing seals the other opening of the hollow portion. The second guide portion is extended to the hollow portion and thread-joined to the first guide portion. The elastic contact terminal is arranged in the first or second masking cap and contacts to the inner periphery of a workpiece(W). The operating knob unit is installed in a side opposite to the second guide portion and operates the second masking cap.
