The seat (SI) has a backrest (DS) comprising a lower part (PI) that is located in vicinity of a rear portion (PR) of a base (AS). A set of recesses (RF) is defined in opposite corners of an end of the rear portion of the base and/or the lower part of the backrest. Two footrests (RP) are installed on two lateral sides (CL) of the rear portion of the base, respectively, where the lateral sides are located opposite to the vicinity of the recesses so as to support feet of a person sitting behind the backrest.
