<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building having a larger window area in an upper part of the building so as to improve daylighting performance of the building. <P>SOLUTION: A building 1 includes a rectangular parallelepiped frame units 20 to 22 composed of four columns 10 and 10' standing on intersections B of base lines A, and beams 11 installed between the neighboring columns 10 and 10'. The frame units 20 to 22 include standard units 20 and 22 and a projecting unit 21 which has a top floor height larger than that of the standard units 20 and 22 and has at least one side face 30 along the outer periphery of the building. The floor beam 11c' of the roof floor at the side face 30 of the projecting unit 21 is located at a position higher than that of the floor beam 11c of the roof floor of the standard units 20 and 22, corresponding to the difference in the top floor height between the projecting unit 21 and the standard units 20 and 22. The side face 30 of the projecting unit 21 is provided with a daylighting window 40 extending from a position lower than the floor beam 11c of the roof floor of the standard units 20 and 21 to a higher position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
