<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a stable enclosing operation for an envelope by suppressing a mistake in enclosing a booklet as a matter to be enclosed into the envelope or the occurrence of jamming thereof when an image forming device and an enclosing/sealing device are inline-connected to each other. <P>SOLUTION: In this image forming system, the image forming device for forming images on paper sheets and the enclosing/sealing device for enclosing a booklet formed by stacking the image-formed paper sheets into an envelope are inline-connected to each other. The image forming system includes a CPU which variably controls the enclosing speed of an enclosing means according to the paper information on the paper sheets to be enclosed. The image forming device and the enclosing/sealing device performs a series of processings under the control of the CPU. The CPU changes the timing of the formation of an image on the first paper sheet of a next booklet after the formation of an image on the last paper sheet of a booklet to be enclosed according to the change of the variably controlled enclosing speed to adjust a conveying interval between the booklet to be first enclosed and the booklet to be next enclosed which are conveyed to the enclosing means (steps S1-S7). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
