<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a desired fluorescent image with a fewer number of developing devices while developing devices respectively including fluorescent toners of R, G and B colors and color toners of C, M and Y colors are unnecessary to form an image with fluorescent colors. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 1 forms an image by using a white fluorescent toner that absorbs UV rays to emit white light and at least one color toner of cyan, magenta, yellow and black colors. The image forming apparatus includes: color toner deposition amount determining means 1121 that determines a deposition amount of the color toner to be deposited to form an image based on image information; white fluorescent toner depositing means that deposits the white fluorescent toner on a recording medium; and color toner depositing means that deposits the color toner in a deposition amount determined by the color toner deposition amount determining means 1121 on a surface, not in contact with the recording medium, of the white fluorescent toner layer formed of the white fluorescent toner deposited by the white fluorescent toner depositing means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
