<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor device which enables a memory array to control to be in an active/inactive state on the basis of a read/write command, does not supply a clock signal or electric power to the memory array in the inactive state, and thereby can reduce power consumption. <P>SOLUTION: The semiconductor device includes a plurality of memory arrays 10A to 10N. Each of the plurality of memory arrays 10A to 10N includes a plurality of memory cells, and further includes a plurality of memory array control circuits 12A to 12N provided so as to correspond to the respective memory arrays. Each of the memory array control circuits includes read/write control circuits 112A to 112N for controlling a read/write operation from/to the corresponding memory arrays, and a selection circuit for enabling the respective corresponding memory arrays to activate the corresponding memory arrays on the basis of a clock signal and an output signal from the read/write control circuit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
