<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology capable of reducing the weight of a carrier and a cost, relating to a straddle-type vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: A motorcycle 10 includes a carrier which keeps an upper surface flat enough to be loaded with an article or a container, and an under-carrier frame 22 which is arranged below the carrier to support the carrier. A carrier 21 is provided with an opening 60. Near the opening 60, an under-carrier frame 22 is provided with an under-carrier frame side attaching part 61 for attaching a container 18 to the under-carrier frame 22. The container 18 is detachably attached to the under-carrier frame side attaching part 61 through the opening 60.
