AMORPHOUS METAL STATOR FOR RADIAL-FLUX ELECTRIC MOTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an efficient amorphous stator having a radial tooth part.

SOLUTION: A stator 200 is made up of a predetermined number of segments 210. Each segment 210 includes a back-iron section 220 and a tooth section 230 which are constructed such that radial flux passing through the stator 200 crosses just one air gap when traversing each segment 210 of the stator 200. Further, the stator back-iron section 220 and the tooth section 230 are constructed such that the radial flux passing through the stator 200 traverses each segment 210 without crossing an air gap.
