<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a road surface member for a tire testing machine, which can obtain an excellent test result even with a road surface covered with a thermal spraying film, and a manufacturing method for the road surface member. <P>SOLUTION: A rotating drum 1 includes an aluminum-alloy road surface base material 2 having a road surface 2a with which a tire 11 is brought into contact.
