<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device capable of reducing manufacturing costs and suppressing deterioration of display quality. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device comprises: a first substrate including a first electrode linearly extended and a first alignment layer covering the first electrode; a second substrate including a second electrode extended in a direction in approximately parallel to an extending direction of the first electrode on both sides across the first electrode, and a second alignment layer covering the second electrode; and a liquid crystal layer including liquid crystal molecules held between the first substrate and the second substrate. At least one of the first electrode and the second electrode is formed of any metal material of aluminum (Al), titanium (Ti), silver (Ag), molybdenum (Mo) and tungsten (W), or an alloy including any of the metal materials. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
