RESIN COMPOSITION, COVER MATERIAL FOR POLYETHYLENE TEREPHTHALATE-MADE CONTAINER, AND PACKAGING CONTAINER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cover material which exhibits heat sealability to A-PET (amorphous PET) products, and has easy peelability and a single-layer structure.

SOLUTION: A resin composition is obtained by melting/kneading a mixture of: a polyethylene-based resin comprising the equal-quantity mixture of a polyethylene terephthalate resin, a straight-chain low-density polyethylene copolymer obtained by copolymerizing ethylene and hexane-1 in the presence of a metallocene catalyst, and another straight-chain low-density polyethylene copolymer obtained by copolymerizing ethylene and octene-1 by a solution polymerization method; and a compatilizer being a binary copolymer of glycidyl methacrylate and ethylene in a biaxial extruder. The resin composition is pelletized and a film sheet is produced from the obtained pellet by an inflation method or a T-die molding method. The obtained film sheet is used as the cover material of an A-PET-made container.
