<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an original conveying apparatus and an original conveying and reading apparatus, which can eliminate an original conveying error resulting from rising of a thick original from an original conveying roller. <P>SOLUTION: A conveying path of a sheet document is formed by connecting nip portions of a first conveying roller 3 and a first driven roller 5 and a second conveying roller 4 and a second driven roller 6. A document table 1, a reading surface of a reading device 7, and a guide plate 8 are set at a position away from the driven rollers 5 and 6 with respect to the original conveying path. Thus, even when the driven rollers 5 and 6 are risen and pushed up by a thick original, an original conveying error can be eliminated. The document table 1, the reading surface of the reading device 7, the guide plate 8 are set at positions of the driving rollers 3 and 4 side with respect to the original conveying path. A contact pressure between the driving rollers 3 and 4 and the thick original can be reduced, and a gap between the driving rollers 3 and 4 and the thick original can be eliminated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
