<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric vehicle that can switch a torque-oriented running mode and an economy-oriented running mode. <P>SOLUTION: A controller for controlling a motor decomposes a current command value corresponding to a motor torque command into a d-axis component Id and a q-axis component Iq on a dq coordinate system, and converts the components Id and Iq to three-phase (UVW) command values to output the same to an inverter. The controller can be used by switching a torque priority map for providing the pair of Id and Iq that outputs a maximum torque relative to the current command value and an efficiency priority map for providing the pair of Id and Iq that makes a motor loss minimum relative to the current command value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
