<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispense with procedures for performing authentication upon having recovered from failure. <P>SOLUTION: An electronic apparatus comprises: a communication unit 36 and a communication unit 16 for performing communications with a center server 40 via a communication network N; a CPU 11 for generating an authentication token on receiving an authentication OK signal that permits authentication from the center server 40 via the communication unit 36 and the communication unit 16; a non-volatile EEPROM 17 for storing the authentication token generated by the CPU 11; a volatile RAM 33 for storing the authentication token generated by the CPU 11; and the CPU 11 which verifies whether the authentication token stored by the EEPROM 17 and the authentication token stored by the RAM 33 match with each other when the RAM 33 stores the authentication token upon having recovered from failure, and maintains an authentication state with the center server 40 when the two authentication tokens match with each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
